Christmas!!

Christmas this year was especially fun because of two sweet loves, Aiden and Oliver. They could care less about the gifts, but they certainly enjoyed the wrapping paper, and tearing it off all the gifts they received. This year was my parents year to have all of the kids home. So we went to the Buchanan Christmas Eve party until nine and stayed the night at my parents. My oldest brother Steve stayed home since their kids are getting older they like to have Christmas at their house so they came up the 29th and stayed until New Years.

As a tradition in David's family we all got new pajamas, but we forgot Aiden's at home so he got to wear a pair of his cousin Ben's pj's. As a tradition in our family we all received a new ornament to put on our tree. David got a Captain America ornament,  I got a barbie dress, and the boys got snowmen. We got pretty spoiled I would say, and so did the boys but not by us, we let the grandparents spoil them :) We woke up at 7 because my brother could not wait. Let me remind you he is 27 years old. I told him the night before that we would get up when all the little kids got up, but he must have thought he was a little kid too. HA! HA! We took turns opening presents but soon we were all opening them because the kids could not wait their turn. We had to hurry after and get ready for church. My parents sacrament meeting started at 11:30, so we ate breakfast then headed out. They had a
wonderful program of musical numbers and the story of Christ. I wish Christmas was on a Sunday every year, it helps remind us the true meaning of Christmas and helps us forget the things in our lives that don't really matter. After church David and I and the boys headed to his Mom's to have a little Christmas with them. Sometimes it is hard having all of our parents in the same valley, Because you don't want to be rude and not see someone so we have to try to make an appearance at each place. We had fun with them and enjoyed exchanging gifts and visiting. We headed back to my parents and played games, made and ate dinner, and just relaxed a little bit. All in all we had a wonderful Christmas spent with family. We stayed at my parents until Monday and headed home that afternoon. I am so grateful for our family and all they do for us, we have such an awesome family.
