Bear Lake

This year David's dad and step mom Carrie planned a trip to go to Bear Lake. We all got to stay in the same Condo and I loved it. We had a great view of the lake and the marina and our very own room with three bunk beds. We only used one and David and I slept on the floor on the mattress since the beds were too short for our lengthy legs. :)

We all arrived Friday and hung out and played games. David's dad brought yummy snacks and we ate way too much.

Saturday morning we stayed in while everyone else went to the pool. We wanted to let the boys nap so that they would be good for the beach.

We went to Rendezvous Beach and it was packed. We were very lucky and got there right when three parking spots opened up so we all could get in. Phew! It was super hot but the water was great. A little chilly for the boys but they liked it nonetheless.

Here is the gang. Adrie, Harrison, Josh, Tricia, Dallin, Scarlett, David, Aiden, Me and Ollie

David and his siblings, minus Ross buried Dallin and gave him boobs! Doesn't he make a beautiful woman?! HE HE

Dallin buried David and made him look like Iron Man. His brothers kept giving him a hard time because the last time he got buried he cried, mind you he was 8!

Aiden(blue) with grandma and Ollie(red) with Daddy. Aiden didn't like the deeper water very much. I finally showed him the shallowest part and he didn't want to leave. He loved finding all sorts of gross things under the water. On the other hand Oliver loves the water. When we would walk out further into the lake the waves would crash on Ollie and he would squeal with delight.

On Sunday we just relaxed and ate yummy food and played lots of games, Mostly Killer and Kinder Bunnies. It was Harrison's favorite which ended up being a very fun game.

This is going to become an annual summer tradition and we get to decide where we want to go every year. I am super excited and can't wait until next year!

Thanks Bryan and Carrie for the wonderful vacation!

Father's Day!

 Happy Father's Day

We got to celebrate Father's day with my family. We spent time with David's step dad the day before at the Summer Fest and spent Monday with his dad and siblings at dinner.

We had a barbeque and hung out outside! My dad decided to be festive and wear a Hawaiian shirt that he never wears.

We love you Dad!!

No More Helmets, Yes!

Aiden and Oliver officially ended their helmet days on June 27th. Our doctor was so surprised at how well their heads shaped and how fast they grew. They started wearing them in April so in only 3 months their heads grew enough that they are shaped more normally. The doctor gave us an option of weening the boys out of their helmets, but that lasted about one day and we were done. Their heads definitely look better and the boys look much cuter without the helmets.

The boys did so well with their helmets. They only got a little mad when we put them on and took them off because it was not the easiest thing at first.

Aiden and Ollie getting messy

Aiden and Ollie got their first haircuts because they were getting way to sweaty with their longer hair. They did pretty well. Aiden didn't mind it at all but Ollie got a little whiny at the end.

In these pictures you can see that their heads are much more rounded

Victory tower I let the boys knock down on their last day of helmet wearing!!

Here is the aftermath.
